PUBLIC NOTICE - - - The Louisiana State University (LSU), Office of Planning, Design & Construction, is proposing to demolish the Military Science-Aerospace Studies Building along with the two-story addition known as the Aerospace Studies Building South, on its Baton Rouge campus. These buildings are contributing historic resources to the LSU National Register Historic District. This project will be reviewed per the requirements of the State Capitol Historic District (R.S. 25: 781-785). Accordingly, this project will require review and approval by the Director of the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation. To ensure that the public’s voice is heard, a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Capitol Annex building, 1051 North 3rd Street (room 402-conference room) in Baton Rouge.
