PUBLIC NOTICE - - - STATE OF LOUISIANA 24th JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON NO: 839-664 DIVISION: “P” JOINT SUCCESSION OF DON AND DONNA RAINES NOTICE WHEREAS, the duly appointed Administratrix of the above Succession has made an application to this Court for (i) authority to sell the following immovable property at private sale to wit: One certain lot of ground, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana, in that part known as PELICAN BAY SUBDIVISION, approved by Jefferson Parish Ordinance No. 22224, registered in COB 3126 folio 862, Entry No. 10440741 and according to which said Lot thereon is designated as LOT 3 of SQUARE 5. The Improvements thereon bear the Municipal No. 4462 Bay View Drive, Marrero, Louisiana 70072. and (ii) for authority to pay the sale-related debts listed in the incorporated Tableau of Distribution from the sale proceeds. The proposed sale is for $203,000.00, payable in cash at the act of sale and contingent upon the purchaser obtaining financing. The purchaser will pay up to $1,000 of the seller’s closing costs; a brown wood television stand presently located in the residence will be included in the sale; and the seller will pay the 3% commission to the buyer’s agent/broker. Notice is hereby given to all parties to whom it may concern, including the heirs and creditors of the decedents and of this estate, that (i) the application for authority to pay estate debts and the incorporated Tableau of Distribution may be homologated after the expiration of seven (7) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, and any opposition thereto must be filed prior to homologation; and (ii) any opposition to the proposed sale of immovable property must be filed within seven (7) days of the second (and final) publication of this notice.
