PUBLIC NOTICE - - - NOTICE The Lafayette City Council met in Regular Session on December 16, 2025 and adopted the following ordinances: CITY ORDINANCE NO. CO-124-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE LAFAYETTE DEVELOPMENT CODE SO AS TO RECLASSIFY THE PROPERTY OF CASE NO. 2025-20-REZ 520 SOUTH MAGNOLIA STREET REZONING, LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF TENTH STREET, WEST OF SOUTH MAGNOLIA STREET, AND SOUTH OF LOUISIANA AVENUE; BEING REZONED FROM RS-1 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY) TO MN-1(C) (MIXED-USE NEIGHBORHOOD (WITH CONDITIONS)) BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council, that: SECTION 1: The Lafayette Development Code is hereby amended so as to reclassify Case No. 2025-20-REZ 520 South Magnolia Street Rezoning located generally north of Tenth Street, west of South Magnolia Street, and south of Louisiana Avenue, the particular parcel being rezoned from RS-1 (Residential Single-Family) to MN-1(C) (Mixed-Use Neighborhood (with conditions)); the said parcel being shown and identified on a map titled, “Area Map Rezoning of Property RS-1 to MN-1,” prepared by Pioneer Surveying, LLC, dated September 8, 2025, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof. SECTION 2: The following condition is to apply: 1. Hours of operations will not exceed 6:00am CST to 9:00pm CST. SECTION 3: All ordinances or resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. CO-139-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE LAFAYETTE DEVELOPMENT CODE SO AS TO RECLASSIFY THE PROPERTY OF CASE NO. 2025-22-REZ 500, 502, 504, 600, 602, 604, 606, 700, 702, 704, 706, 800, 802 & 804 WEST WILLOW STREET REZONING, LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF WEST WILLOW STREET, EAST OF CORA STREET, AND SOUTH OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DRIVE; BEING REZONED FROM RS-1 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY) TO RM-1 (RESIDENTIAL MIXED) BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council, that: SECTION 1: The Lafayette Development Code is hereby amended so as to reclassify Case No. 2025-22-REZ 500, 502, 504, 600, 602, 604, 606, 700, 702, 704, 706, 800, 802 & 804 West Willow Street Rezoning, located generally north of West Willow Street, east of Cora Street, and south of Martin Luther King Jr Drive, the particular parcels being rezoned from RS-1 (Residential Single-Family) to RM-1 (Residential Mixed); the said parcel being shown and identified on a map titled, “Map Showing Zoning Reclassification From RS-1 to RM-1,” prepared by Joe Maniscalco, Jr., PE, PLS, dated October 8, 2023, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof. SECTION 2: All ordinances or resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. CO-142-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE LAFAYETTE DEVELOPMENT CODE SO AS TO RECLASSIFY THE PROPERTY OF CASE NO. 2025-26-REZ 304 ACADEMY ROAD REZONING, LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF GOODNIGHT DRIVE, EAST OF NORMANDY ROAD, AND SOUTH OF ACADEMY ROAD; BEING REZONED FROM RS-1 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY) TO RS-2 (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY) BE IT ORDAINED by the Lafayette City Council, that: SECTION 1: The Lafayette Development Code is hereby amended so as to reclassify Case No. 2025-26-REZ 304 Academy Road Rezoning, located generally north of Goodnight Drive, east of Normandy Road, and south of Academy Road, the particular parcel being rezoned from RS-1 (Residential Single-Family) to RS-2 (Residential Single-Family); the said parcel being shown and identified on a map titled, “Rezoning Map Showing the Proposed Rezoning of Lot 545 of Riverside Drive Subdivision Extension No. 2,” prepared by Richard C. Spikes, Inc., dated October 7, 2025, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof. SECTION 2: All ordinances or resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
