PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development Proposed Amendment #3 to the Jefferson Parish HOME ARP Allocation Plan Public Meeting In accordance with the Jefferson Parish Citizen Participation Plan and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements, Jefferson Parish is publishing this notice of a Public Meeting to be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025, at 4 pm in Room 405 of the Joseph Yenni Building at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd., Harahan, Louisiana 70123. Jefferson Parish received an allocation of HUD HOME American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. In order to reallocate funds from current to new proposed activities, the Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development is holding a public meeting and seeking comments. The agenda of the meeting includes; 1. Reallocated funding for HOME ARP Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program for eligible HOME ARP populations at $200,000; 2. Reallocated funding for Metro Centers for Community Advocacy and New Orleans Women and Children’s Shelter at $400,000 combined total; and 3. Reallocated funding to the “Developer Funding Pool” in the amount of $15,625 and other minor text and budget changes.
