PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Howell Village Senior, LP is proposing the construction of 72 one-bedroom units located at approximately 3800 72nd Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70811. These 72 new construction units in 12 buildings will be available to elderly households earning 30%-60% of Area Median Income. This project will also have a community facility, a picnic area with permanent grill, a courtyard with seating and free tenant Wi-Fi. The development plans to include security cameras and have a Federally Qualified Health Center available on-site on a quarterly basis. The proposed name of the project is Howell Village Senior. The project will be applying for 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits along with tax-exempt bond financing from the Louisiana Housing Corporation. Total Development Cost is approximately $22 million. The anticipated sources are approximately $8.3 million in tax credit equity, $6.72 million in HUD Section 202 financing, $5 million in Community Project Funding, $850,000 in FHLB Dallas AHP funds, and $900,000 in sponsor soft debt.
