PUBLIC NOTICE - - - 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON STATE OF LOUISIANA NO. 798-026 DIVISION “N” SUCCESSION OF MORRIS BRODIE Consolidated With: SUCCESSION OF DOLORES THUER BRODIE NO. 822-488 DIVISION “E” NOTICE BY PUBLICATION OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY NOTICE is hereby given that Cheryl Brodie, duly qualified Administrator of the Succession of MORRIS BRODIE and DOLORES THUER BRODIE, has made application to the Court for authority to sell Decedent’s full interest in and to the following immovable property at private sale, to-wit: A CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining situated in the Parish of Jefferson, Louisiana in that part thereof known as MOISANT PLACE, in Square 2 thereof, bounded by Moisant Drive, Tenth Street, Clay Street and the Airline Highway which said lot is designated by the No. 1 on a survey made by Adloe Orr, Jr. C.E., dated December 7, 1946, and on the survey of Adloe Orr, C.E., dated August 8, 1947, and according to which surveys the said Lot No. 1 forms the corner of Moisant Drive, and Tenth Street and measures 50 feet front on Moisant Drive, the same in width in the rear by a depth and front on Tenth Street of 115 feet between equal and parallel lines. Lot No. 1 is composed of all of original Lot No. 1 and part of original Lot No. 2. All in accordance with a blueprint of survey by Adloe Orr, C. E., dated August 8, 1947, annexed to an act before George D. Smart, N.P., October 31, 1947. The improvements bear the Municipal No. 915 Moisant Drive. Any heirs, legatees, and/or creditors of the deceased who oppose the sale must do so within seven (7) days of the last date of publication issued. After seven (7) days from the last publication the Court may issue an order authorizing the sale of the property for the price and sum of Seventy-Eight Thousand and 00/100 ($78,000.00) all cash to seller, at private sale.
