PUBLIC NOTICE - - - 24 TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF JEFFERSON STATE OF LOUISIANA NO. 867-218 DIVISION “C” SUCCESSION OF ARTHUR GUSTAVE BUUCK, JR. NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO SELL IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE NOTICE IS GIVEN that ALICE BREUN BUUCK, Testamentary Executrix of the Succession of ARTHUR GUSTAVE BUUCK, JR., has, pursuant to the provisions of Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure Article 3281, petitioned this Honorable Court for authority to sell at private sale, for the price of $625,000.00, in the manner and on the terms and conditions more fully set forth in the Petition for Authority to Sell Immovable Property at Private Sale, the following described property: TWO CERTAIN LOTS OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the PARISH OF JEFFERSON, STATE OF LOUISIANA, in SQUARE “D”, CRESTMONT PARK, bounded by ELLIS PARKWAY, CRESTMONT DRIVE, RIDGEWOOD DRIVE and ROSEWOOD DRIVE, designated as LOTS NOS. 4 and 5 on the survey made by Gilbert, Kelly & Couturie, Surveying & Engineering, dated May 29, 1971, a copy of which is annexed to act of purchase, passed before Manuel I. Fisher, Notary Public, on June 17, 1971; and, according to said survey said LOTS NOS. 4 and 5 adjoin each other, and measure, together, 60 feet front on Ellis Parkway, by a depth on the side line toward Rosewood Drive of 164 feet, 0 inches and 3 lines, and a first depth on the opposite side line, toward Ridgewood Drive, of 114 feet, 0 inches and 3 lines, thence narrowing at right angles, a distance of 45 feet, thence a second depth of 50 feet to the rear line, on which rear line said lots have a width of 15 feet; said Lot No. 5 commences at a distance of 62 feet, 5 inches and 1 line from the corner of Ellis Parkway and Ridgewood Drive. The buildings and improvements thereon bear the Municipal No. 1508 Ellis Parkway. Being the same property acquired by Mr. And Mrs. Arthur G. Buuck, Jr. from French Market Homestead Savings Association per act passed before Manuel I. Fisher, Notary Public, on June 17, 1971, registered in COB 737, folio 495 of the conveyance records of Jefferson Parish. Notice is hereby give that an Order authorizing the Testamentary Executrix to sell the property for the aforesaid sum and on the terms and conditions set forth in the Petition for Authority to Sell Immovable Property at Private Sale, which is on file in these Succession proceedings, may be issued after seven (7) days from the date whereon the last publication of this Notice appears, and the heirs and creditors are required to make opposition, if any they have or can, to such sale, prior to the issuance of the Order.
