PUBLIC NOTICE - - - Notice is hereby given that Evangeline Gas Company, Inc., which provides natural gas distribution services to retail customers in the parishes of Jefferson Davis, Acadia, Evangeline and St. Landry, Louisiana, has made application to the Louisiana Public Service Commission relative to an adjustment in gas service rates and a proposed rate stabilization plan. This proposed rate increase is required because current rates are insufficient to cover the company’s operating expenses for providing gas service and provide a fair and reasonable rate of return on investment. The rate stabilization plan is to provide for annual review of the company’s earnings and adjustment of the revenue requirement by the Louisiana Public Service Commission.
