PUBLIC NOTICE - - - CIVIL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF ORLEANS STATE OF LOUISIANA THE SUCCESSION OF LEONA GREEN MITCHELL, WIFE OF/AND HENRY MITCHELL, SR. NOTICE NOTICE IS GIVEN that Loretta Hutton , the duly appointed Administratrix of the Successions of Leona Green Mitchell, Wife of/And Henry Mitchell, Sr. , Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. 2025-11098 is applying for authority to sell at private sale, the whole interest of THE SUCCESSIONS OF LEONA GREEN MITCHELL, WIFE OF/AND HENRY MITCHELL, SR. on terms of Fifty-Thousand Dollars ($50,000) for the whole undivided interest, less related fees, commissions, costs and/or expenses, in the immovable property described as follows, to wit: THAT CERTAIN PIECE OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances, and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the fourth district of the City of New Orleans, State of Louisiana designated By the letter "B" in Square no. 314, Bounded by Third, Fourth, So. Franklin and So. Liberty Streets on a sketch made by C. Uncas Lewis, Deputy City Surveyor, dated May 14, 1919 annexed to act before F. J. Drayfus, notary public, dated June 2, 1919 filed for record June 2, 1919. According to which sketch said portion of ground commence at a distance of thirty-two feet, six inches ( 32' 6") from So. Liberty St. and measures twenty-six feet (26’) front on Third Street by a first depth on the side line separating it from lot “C” nearest to So. Franklin St. of seventy five feet (75’) thence widening at right angles on a line running toward So. Franklin Street thirty two feet (32’) thence a second depth to the rear line of twenty-two feet (22’), a first depth on the opposite line separating it from Lot “A” eighty-seven feet (87’), thence widening at right angles on line running to So. Liberty Street 32 feet, six inches (32’6”), thence a second depth of ten feet (10’) along Liberty Street to the rear line which has ninety feet (90’); all as more fully shown on a plat of survey by Adloe Orr, Jr., C.E., dated December 22, 1959, a certified copy of which is annexed to an act passed before Richard L. Boelker, Jr., Notary Public, dated February 28, 1961. An order authorizing the Administrator to do so may be issued after ten days from the publication of this notice. An opposition to the application may be filed at any time prior to the issuance of such an order.
