PUBLIC NOTICE - - - - 4 - CONVERSE FIELD 25-464 thru 25-466 LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF LOUISIANA, DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND ENERGY, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA. In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2025 upon the application of EXPAND OPERATING, LLC. At such hearing the Department of Conservation and Energy will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Converse Field, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. 1. To authorize applicant to drill, designate and utilize three cross unit horizontal wells to serve as alternate unit wells for HA RA SU63, HA RA SU60 and HA RA SUNN, and one cross unit horizontal well to serve as an alternate unit well for HA RA SU63 and HA RA SU60, all at the locations and in the general manner shown on the plat submitted with the application, or at any other legal locations within such units, to approve exceptions to the spacing provisions of the Department of Conservation and Energy Order No. 501-G, effective April 7, 2009, as to the common boundaries of the units which will be served by the cross unit horizontal wells, provided that there will be no perforations in a wellbore closer than 330’ to any unit boundary other than the common unit boundaries between the units to be served by the wells, and to approve exceptions to the spacing provisions of said Order No. 501-G to allow the first and last take point or perforation point in each of the wells proposed herein to be located no closer than 100’ from either the north or south unit line of the affected units and no closer than 200’ to any well on a competitive unit completed in, drilling to, or for which a permit has been granted to drill to the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A (should the Department of Conservation and Energy decline this request for an exception to the well spacing, applicant herein requests that said wells be approved according to the well spacing set forth in Order No. 501-G, effective April 7, 2009). 2. To find that each of the proposed horizontal wells is necessary to efficiently and economically drain a portion of the Haynesville Zone underlying the units on which it is proposed to be drilled which cannot be efficiently and economically drained by any existing well on such units, will prevent waste, avoid the drilling of unnecessary wells, protect correlative rights and promote the full and efficient development of the natural resources of this state. 3. To provide that if the horizontal portion of a well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary and offset well(s) will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well and not on the penetration point or terminus of the well in the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A. 4. Except insofar as set forth above, to confirm and continue in full force and effect the provisions of Order No. 501-G, effective April 7, 2009, as amended and supplemented by the 501-G Series of Orders, the units created thereby, and of all applicable Statewide Orders. 5. To provide that the unit allowables for the units to be served by the proposed wells may be produced from the unit well, from any alternate unit well, or from any combination of such wells serving the unit, at the discretion of the operator. 6. To provide that production from a cross unit horizontal well shall be allocated to each unit penetrated by the well in the same proportion as the perforated length of the lateral in each such unit bears to the total lengths of the perforated lateral as determined by an “as drilled” survey performed after the well has been drilled and completed. 7. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent. The Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 501-G, effective April 7, 2009.
