PUBLIC NOTICE RFQ # 08-27 Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services Ovey Comeaux Workforce Innovation
Academy
The Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from highly qualified Construction Management firms interested in providing Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for: Ovey Comeaux Workforce Innovation Academy Project
The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design and construct the Ovey Comeaux Workforce Innovation Academy at the Ovey Comeaux High School campus located at 100 West Bluebird Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508. The Project is intended to create a high-visibility career and technical education academy serving high school students pursuing industry-based certifications and workforce readiness pathways.
The REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) may be obtained electronically from the following website

until 10:00 a.m. CST on Friday, September 4, 2026.
The LPSB Selection Review Committee will evaluate only the firms that are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction and have obtained the official RFQ package for this solicitation from the RFQ Coordinator, Kristie Sam, or the LPSB website stated above.
The original and SIX (6) copies of the SOQ, per Section 4 of the RFQ dated August 5, 2026, shall be delivered to the Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) at the Office of Purchasing, 202 Rue Iberville, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508. The SOQ submissions for this Project will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. CST on
Friday, September 4, 2026.
SOQ submissions that have not been received by the aforementioned deadline date and time will be rejected. Additionally, failure to submit all information stipulated in Section 4 - Response Instructions of the RFQ dated August 5, 2026 may result in rejection of the SOQ.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 100 W Bluebird Dr, Lafayette, LA 70508 Louisiana, Louisiana 70508, in the Performing Arts Building. All firms interested in submitting an SOQ in response to the RFQ are required to attend. SOQs submitted by firms who do not attend the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be rejected.
SOQ Respondents, their consultants, sub‐consultants, or other parties representing the proposed team for this solicitation may not contact any LPSB CMAR Selection Committee members concerning this Project from the date of the solicitation until after the date of the selection.
LPSB and the LPSB CMAR Selection Committee reserve the right to reject any or all timely submitted SOQs in response to this RFQ for just cause and waive any informalities in any proposals received.
